Terms of Service

By using this site and commissioning work from House of Lorraine, you agree to the following terms.

Commissions

A 50 percent deposit is required to begin work on any bespoke commission. Deposits are non-refundable once cutting has begun. The balance is due at the final fitting before the piece leaves the boutique.

Fittings

Clients are expected to attend scheduled fittings. Missed fittings without prior notice may extend the delivery timeline and incur a rescheduling fee.

Intellectual property

Designs created for clients remain the intellectual property of House of Lorraine. The client receives an exclusive license to wear, photograph, and share the finished piece. Reproduction for commercial purposes is not permitted without written consent.

Limitation of liability

House of Lorraine is liable only for workmanship on pieces we create. We are not responsible for fabric defects supplied by the client.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page.
